Jammu, January 28, 2025 - Tiny Tots Hr Sec School celebrated
its Annual Cum Sports Day Function with great enthusiasm and flair at the
school grounds in Sainik Colony today. The event was graced by the presence of
the Chief Guest, Satish Sharma, Minister for FCS&CA, Transport, Youth
Services and Sports, Information Technology, Science and Technology, ARI &
Trainings, who was warmly welcomed by the students with a shower of petals.
The Chief Guest was given an exclusive tour of the school's
Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning Laboratory, where
students showcased their innovative models. The Guests of Honour for the day
included Anil Kapahi, Secretary Amar Singh Club; Sandeep Jain, President
Bharatiya Jain Sanghathan J and K; Sunny Dua; Shreyansh Kumar Jain; Manmeet
Kour; Vishakha Pandita; Dr. Additi Khajuria;
Dr. Vaid and Sidharth Dogra, Editor Jammu Links.
Dr. Vikram Handa, Principal of Tiny Tots Hr Sec School,
delivered the welcome address and presented the annual report, highlighting the
school's achievements over the past year.
Chairperson Veena Handa, along with School Director Gurpreet
Handa and the distinguished guests, officially inaugurated the meet by lighting
the ceremonial torch, which was carried around the field by the Sports Captain,
Sunny Thakur. This was followed by a Guard of Honor presented by contingents of
different houses, led by the school's Captain body.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the
Kindergarten students proudly marched while waving the Tricolour. The finals of
various athletic events, including sprints, long-distance races, long jump, and
fun races for the junior classes, were held throughout the day. The event also
featured captivating cultural performances, showcasing traditional dances from
Rajasthan, Punjab, and the Land of Fairies. The highlights of the day were the
energetic Shiv Tandav performance at the beginning of the program and the
aerobics drill towards the end. The parents of the students applauded the
talent of their wards with thunderous claps throughout the program.
Satish Sharma, the Chief Guest, lauded the students and
staff for their efforts and emphasized the importance of incorporating modern
technology, such as Robotics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence,
into the curriculum. Sandeep Jain, in his address, spoke about the significance
of patriotism and the formation of bonds and friendships during school days. He
praised the patriotic skit performed by the students and stressed the
importance of organizing such activities regularly for the overall development
of students.
Veena Handa, Chairperson of Tiny Tots Group of Schools,
commended the efforts of the management, students and staff in putting together
a fabulous event. The vote of thanks was presented by Kiran Zutshi.
The day concluded with fun races organized for the staff and
parents, ensuring everyone had an enjoyable and memorable time.
